also found this. it talks about an area of the brain that when stimulated fucks with your sense of self and otherness, and causes you to get the feeling of a "presence" near you. could be responsible for alot of stuff. reminds me of a book i read on near death xps that related epilepsy, temporal lobe issues and spiritual/religious/creative/hallucinatory experiences.

Not sure I fully comprehend the first one (what do they mean by Global Event Generator?), but I think they are talkng about a human 'shared conciousness' correct?
Thats kind of neat, if they are measuring a human 'hive mind' effect.

The second article is similar to several other thigns I've read in my life. This is really intriguing to me, cause it has the potential to really explain alot about the way we work.
BTW, did you read the comments underneath, I think they missed the point.

yeah, the comments were great. science article that explains away ghosts and stuff, then people start talking about their experiences with them... maybe all that happened, but an ironic place to discuss it.

the other one is based on psychic experiments with a random number generator. humans have been shown to have a mild, but significant, effect on random number generators that cannot be explained. so what if you look at such a device at a moment when millions, or even billions, of people have their attention on a given thing? a natural disaster, a war, whatever? that is what the project is about, to see if these things have a psychic resonance.

So if there is a newscast about 'a car crash' then their number generator usually spits out the same number? I'm still not sure I understand.

it changes, and creates patterns where there should be none. just look at the pictures.
