90's Character contact of Agatha Loveridge
Buella Reveur
Wizened mambo verbena
(Life, spirit/mind)
A no BS woman who's help was much desired, but didn't come cheap. If she deemed your cause "worthy" you usually paid in a way that didn't seem to big till much much later. Agatha and Buella met in their younger years and developed a friendship of sorts that was beneficial to both up until their last encounter...
Agatha ended up with bad intel that cost Buella her life 6 years ago... now Agatha gets to find out what the assistance from Buella has actually cost her...

I'm really good at what I do... I just struggle with getting started.

Re: Mage TTA
Ann Marie Ketch
(Impetuous Headstrong Detective
Primary: Prime, Life (Secondary: Forces, Matter, Entropy)
Ketch’s sister was the head strong impulsive side to the sibling duo. She liked the glory and adrenaline of hunting and catching bad guys/monsters. She was a good detective and fighter like her brother. More often than as n not though she got the pair in hot water w her half baked plans. It was this jump in head first attitude that got her captured and brainwashed by the technocracy, after she was seduced by a handsome young technocrat.
Her betrayal and subsequent death which also left Ketch without his wife and child broke Ketch in a way the rest of the war wasn’t able. His ability to trust was irrevocably shattered, and he was never able to fill the hole his families absence left in his life. Although he tried with others and can sometimes seem desperate to hold onto to attachments.
Anna was a master of life and prime. With ability in forces, entropy and matter as well. Her and Ketch worked well together complimenting each other in their tasks.

Re: Mage TTA
Per text thread:
Younger characters (ie: associate characters) created with rules for mentors (see first post), but retain the combat flaw if it hasn't been bought off. Sphere cap 4. No arete cap. (It was noted that it would be appropriate to use the original character as a base and then age it up with dots appropriate to the 90s character.)
De-aged mentors can be created using basic rules with Arete 3 for free, no combat flaw, and 1s in atts if wanted. Add 16xp (which is just enough for some attribute cheese).

Re: Mage TTA
Below are the major goals we discussed throughout the game as being important to the group.
Cheyne asked that we come up with actions that we would be doing to forward these goals. Josh expressed a lot of interest in being directly involved in opposing Donovan. Steven and I were more inclined to continue investigating the Risen threat and how that inter played with the 3 tradition mage gangs.
People should post two things, first what actions are the "young" characters will be influencing the mentors. This doesn't necessarily have to be overt actions, but how do you carry yourself and what ideas are you trying to imprint upon the mentors?
Second people should decide what actions they want to take this next game to forward the goals we've been discussing. It has been discussed that we can split the party into two groups who can do different things. So we don't all necessarily need to all be doing the same things, but we likely need to be able to come up with two things we want to explore in the next game session.
- Jump start investigation of Nepahndi ritual (w/ Tech and Traditions)
- Work with trustworthy mages to work with on this
- Future Headmaster of Hogbills
- Trench Coat Guy
- Vampire Contacts (Iona, Urial and Duke of Strawberry)
- Cult of Ecstasy Character and/or Lady Liberty
- Continue investigation of Risen character and the origin of him
- Screw w/ Donovan (talk w/ Prothos) - the list above somewhat forwards this goal as well
- Create counter to ITX AI
- Influence the mentor characters - this can be somewhat passive through our actions and play style
- Seeking and/or rituals with Entropy, Time, and Spirit for the purposes below
- Get an idea of what our characters had done in other cycles via our avatars
- Find key events or people to influence to affect the change we want

Re: Mage TTA
Thanks for the post Zach:
I plan to be more ‘there’ for my mentorees (drag them along on missions, become more of a moral compass for them, pushing for moderation and finding non-murdery means to deal with Technocrats).
I plan to follow the Risen related plot. We have no idea initially of knowing if he is relevant to our overarching plot, but he is murdering tradition mages, it ups the violence ante and needs to be stopped, along with giving Trad and Tech more reasons to retaliate against each other.
I am also investing time and resources into Samantha and Julia. Following their lives using mundane PI, or possibly Beulah’s connections (she has cult, influence) depending on where the children are in the US.

“Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.”

Re: Mage TTA
Miss Koko plans on working on the Seeking ritual to gather more info on what they have already tried and try to find non-cthulian ways to get their memories to cross over.
I think I also want to start spreading rumors about this nephandic ritual spreading through the mage community. I want to talk about the idea in game before I start doing this though.
As far as our ... mentors? mentees? mentorees? whatever we want to call them. I think we should let them in on the truth, or at the very least part of it. We should at least get them to try to start trusting others, maybe even get them to connect with things outside of the conflict.

Re: Mage TTA
Dave/Derrick would advise against any interference with Sam and Julia since that would be shifting a known quantity to an unknown variable. I would support Ms. Koko’s endeavor with focusing on cutting down violence in the war. For the time being I’d only support better mindful training of the mentorees, I think it would be risking paradox to directly inform them of the situation. we also never directly investigated Donovan nor found out what happened to him.
