OMG I want to see her nude, more than any other actress or starlett right now...Scarlett Johansen is a strong second though...

"I rise, you fall"

Golden. I just hope there are dinobots or planet eating robots somewhere down the line. And more personality for the Transformers.

Yeah, the only complaint i really had was not enough transformers (oh and those two ghettofied punkbot things)

punkbots were most annoying, and more in the vein of 'new' transformers than with 'classic', which I guess is expected. Also, the senile transformer thing was offensive.

I actually enjoyed senile old transformer thing (Jetfire, though way not-the-same as the old cartoon series version).

S, what did you like about the senility-bot?

He had comic relief value. Also, making him a cane out of landing gear was funny.

I debate over the nature of punkbots. Hollywood has a tradition of blackploitation, and making fun of minorities. When taken in context of the past, it is pretty fucking racist.

When looked at in context of the story however, many of the autobots took on charicatured personalities to interact with the humans, based upon an condensed analysis of media. Media is distorted, and full of caricatures. Hell, they could even have been based off of the slimshady/vanilla ice type hip hop artists, and wannabe gangsta lifestyle.

so, aside from knowing they were irritating and lame, i'm not sure whether to actually consider them racist or not. (I bring this up b/c, though you guys haven't mentioned it, the media is making something of a big deal over it).

Yeah they really are, I don't know how I feel about it either. According to Michael Bay, most of their dialogue wasn't scripted it was improved by the voice actors, one of whom was black and the other is the voice talent for SpongeBob Squarepants. Not that who did the voice really matters I guess, other than to say that if the parts were improvised and one of the actors was himself black then the case of it being intentionally racist rather than a characature seems to have slightly less ground. I had more issues with Starscream looking and acting like a fucking beaten dog in every one of his scenes with Megatron.

I recall the transformers (old school) having very distinct (caricature) personalities, complete with funny accents, and all, so the transformers like Jazz, and Jetfire were just fun. However, the ghettobots were ridiculous, and they were a bit racist (one even had a gold f**king tooth). I just didn't enjoy them, and thought they brought the scenes with them in it beneath the rest of the film.

I actually didn't know the media was making a big deal of them. I don't pay attention to the world. The only news I get is from you guys, here.

And as far as Starscream goes.... he was Megatron's lapdog, and a sniveling coward.

Did I miss something too or did they literately just disappear during the cut from them fighting the constructacon and the seen of Sam running some more and then it cuts back to the constructacon and they are nowhere to be seen again. I personally have no problem with either them or the Senile Robot, I thought both brought a bit more humanity to the transformers in general which I thought was what they were trying to accomplish. I also enjoyed the further development of Bumblebee's character.
