So a few interesting things have happened down here since my last posting:

1) I overheard a father berating his two young children at the mall other day. The topic of the conversation was incest. Apparently, a brother cannot share candy with his sister because doing so is incestuous behavior, and thats bad. Incest is apparently something of a heated topic in this section of our fine nation.

2) The other night one of the bartenders me and Temple work with rang our doorbell at midnight balling her eyes out. Apparently her live in girlfriend had tried to kill herself that evening and she had no one else to talk to about it. When she finally left I noticed she had left a small gift behind...a blood stain on my couch.

3) Nobody checks ID on alchohol sales around here, except Walmart which is exactly the same as everwhere else.

4) We are currently having drama with our neighbors who feel that because they have a baby they get dibs on all the best parking spaces in our very tiny, none assigned parking area.

5) The theaters out here suck. They remind me of Kickingbird theatre in Edmond, small, bad screens and and overabundance of advertising, plus they cost more than AMC.

6) The restaurant I work at is closing, so I get to find a new job. Plus we mght be moving again since the only job prospects are on the other side of the lake.

In closing I just want to express my love for the great state of Missouri...which is currently fighting with a case of indigestion for a small secluded section of my heart.

Oh, and we went miniature golfing at a pirate themed course the other day, and Temple got a hole in one. This was actually a good thing, and it won us a free game.
