So somebody decided they would make a right turn into me from the middle lane of NW Expressway. My car is not so good and i had a concussion as well as a possible broken wrist. Thankfully his insurance will be paying for it all, including my CAT scan.
So needless to say i doubt i will be coming out much this weekend.

Do you go looking for accidents, or do they pretty much just know were to find you at any given time? Hope the brain scan goes okay...I've always wanted one of those BTW. Be maerry and enjoy all the infux of free money

so, red leader got shot down, and all luke got was a concussion. Sounds pretty feng shui to me.
I hope you're ok, and that you have a human brain and that it works. Enjoy lying in a tube while people throw garbage cans at it.

im fine. the scan showed nothing unusual. i just have to wear a splint till i can get into see an orthopedic doctor to know for sure if it is broken.

my wrist seems to be doing ok. i have a doctor's appointment friday to get the final diagnosis.
my car is likely totaled with a repair estimate of over $11K. Will find out for sure in the next 24 hours.

Again, the bright side is that his insurance will be paying for it all, not yours.

yes, his insurance will be paying for that. problem is now i have to deal with car shopping. One of the shadiest of activities known to man. I have to brave the dealerships and go one on one with the car salesman. Whose goal is to screw me out of money so that they can make more.

buy a car from craigslist. No chance of being raped and murdered doing that.

MINI has been one of the cars i have been considering. It all depends on price and if i can get some money out of what once was my car.

For refrence, mine is a Cooper S, manual transmission, with the Cold Weather and Convenience packages, it ran about... $25.8k I think?
That said, the basic Coopers with no packages start at more like $19k. The Cooper S starts at, I think, $21K.
