can someone walk me through getting to the wiki, modding the wiki, etc? preferably in person and as though i'm an old and busted moron?

i want to use this feature, but i don't understand it well enough to do so, and am too lazy to try and learn on my own...

I want to keep track of NPCs through the wiki, but I hate the whole editing part.

pretty much. you would think the wod wikis would have some sort of pre-made form. have you guys looked on the wod sight for such a thing? they have their own wikis you know...

I can try to walk you through it before the game starts tonight if you want. I'll see about getting a Wiki page up for my game to sort of use as an example.

Do you have a name for your DB game? I can make a skeleton for it that we (as a party) can start to fill out.

By the way, anyone in my game, just click on your character's name in order to open up the editing page for it and put whatever. Ideally I'll make a character sheet template at some point, but a physical description and some other description/personality/history stuff can certainly go into it in the meantime.

Looks like spammers found our wiki, I changed the home page back to what it was, but it won't last for long.

Vandalism fixed. I also protected the main page and banned the three IPs that had been spamming it.

As an update regarding the wiki, I have disabled new user account creation and anonymous editing in order to prevent vadalism. If you do not have an account and find that you want to edit the wiki (very few people have used it at all so far), let me know and I will get an account set up.

This is a good example of stuff that can be done with the wiki for games (cross posted from Cheyne's D&D game thread:
