Arguments on boards

I noticed something when reading a request for information... two people trying to give him an answer started fighting over how best to provide the results... what I found funny was after a few posts the original person was no longer involved... so they were fighting on how best to advise someone that appears to have walked away... wonder how often that happens because I know I tend to lose interest in an argument if the person asking the question I am trying to answer leaves the conversation... I wonder how foolish they feel when they realize it...

I fixed my typo, so now you look like an idiot...mwahaha,
and you should have put quotations around the word 'your', so you're wrong more.
Wrong, wrong, wrong...all wrong (except the Batman critique, and that was right).
