Black Mage vs Ryu

It had to happen, Eight Bit Theatre's 'evil' mage finally has to answer for stealing those moves.
Sure Ryu has more pixels, but does he have the attitude to back them up?
The setting, a side scrolling fight game with genric temple backdrop.
Fighters ready..3..2..1..FIGHT!

Black Mage's hadoken is exponentially (at least) more powerful than Ryu's. Black Mage would destroy the temple and probably a large section of the planet's crust in the process of eliminating his enemy. If he can, he'll also kill some bunnies or puppies or something.

Ryu loses since he has to build up his meter to be able to do a super move and come close to BM's power. BM opens with his uber kill all spell "HADOOOKEN" and if that somehow fails to finish off the wandering scrapper then he will use his backup spell "FIGHTER-DOKEN"... and if by some miracle of fate Ryu still breathes then BM will finish him off with "MEDOKEN"... nuff said

probably one of the only worthwhile arguments for why Ryu would win... but only because it is set in Ryu's type of world... BM owns in any other

have you not read 8-bit?? she is perfectly safe from attacks from BM...unless you count bad pickup lines as attacks... and as damage goes she usually hits him before he gets to 1st base... against ryu she might have some issues but BM will likely save her by doing a triple tag-in super attack with her, himself and fighter
