Johnathan walked through the darkened streets of the City, surveying the areas he would be working in. Though he moved through the "rougher" sections of the city, he paid more attention to the general state of affairs than to the people eyeing him. In his hand he held a small notebook and continually made notes as he walked, pausing here and there as something caught his attention.

After a few hours of walking, and after nearly filling his small pad, he paused and pulled out a cell phone, placing a two calls, "I'm headed over to the other territories to check them out. I'd like to know what and where everything is before I really get to work in the city, especially being as new as I am. I'll check in at the top of the hour, every hour with my location. I'll be headed to your home ground first, so if there's anyone that might be offended if I show up unannounced, give them a heads up. Political courtesy has never been my strong point, nor have I really cared about it, but I don't want to step on any toes this early in the game." He pauses a moment, apparently listening, "Yeah...ok...I'll call again in about an hour."

The second call was much briefer; "I'm ready."

About five minutes later, a car pulls up to the curb and Johnathan leans down to the passenger window as it rolls down, "We're going over to the East side....Yeah...the park..."

Moments later both are gone; headed east.

::the area of town you are in is filled with the leavings of society. trash, derelict buildings, discarded people. you are looked at many times, but your knowledgeable stride and menacing demeanor keep most away.

the only thing of interest on the street tonight is on baker street, known for its prostitutes. the pimp jz recently lost a girl and has pulled back his business plans after a violent altercation with an unknown wealthy assailant, and a high class hooker that apparently got her kicks by slumming in the area left after that same strange ma went looking for her.::

While riding across the city, Johnathan decides to err on the side of caution. Picking up his phone, he makes a call.

"Denton? I'm assuming you can vouch for me passing through your Clan Territory. Could you give me some contact information for others in the City? I'd like to avoid any incidents if possible. It only seems polite to announce oneself before showing up."

(Note you may edit the first post to reflect whom you talked to I did not realise it was me you were talking to in the first post till I reread it.)

::Answering his phone Denton pulls out his phone and answers.::

"Yes This is he. I can Vouche for you may I join you while in our territory, just to be safe. If you allow me to I will give you contact information when and if I meet you. I understand not wanting to step on any toes."

::If his presence is accepted Denton will meet up with Johnathan::

"Your presence would be a welcome addition. Shall we meet just outside the Park? In...say...twenty minutes? Excellent." As he hangs up, Johnathan relays the information to his driver and bends down to take a harness and two pistols from a case in the floorboard.

"Sir?" his driver asked as he watches from the rearview mirror. It's the closest thing to an objection he ever voices.

"I'm going into someone else's territory. While I'm doing everything I can to ensure I don't offend anyone, I'm not a complete idiot." As he speaks, he pauses for a moment and the harnest and pistols seemingly vanish. "Let's just hope I don't have to use them."

"Outside of the park in twenty minutes would be fine of course."

::Heads through the sewer tunnels to the Park in Nosferatu Territory. When there Denton calls Nick.::

"Nick I have a guest that I am escorting through our territory thought I would let you know. All is in good hands. I belive you briefly met Johnathan earlier this week."

::Leaving the tunnels under Obfuscate Denton will find a alley near the park to come out of Obfuscate to use his power Familiar Face and will find a nearby park bench in the park While he is waiting and finishing his conversation.::

The car rolls silently along the street, stopping about a block away from the park. "I'll walk in from here, just stay close enough to get me if I need you in a pinch," Johnathan says as he steps out of the vehicle.

After taking a moment to adjust his harness, passing the motion off as picking lint from his should here, brushing something from his shirt there, Johnathan sets off down the sidewalk toward the park. It's not long before he spots Denton on the bench.

"Ah, hello there. I hadn't expected to see you in person, though I can't say I mind the company overly much. Always good to have a member of the home team with you when you're visiting... On a seperate note, I had left a letter for you concerning our business with the remodeling of the storage facility back at the Haven, but perhaps we could discuss it in person instead...all in good time. Please, take the lead if you would. I"m sure you can show me around more capably than I could wander about on my own."

(although the city map has changed Denton still has been in the area for a year)

"of course lets go."

::Denton gives Johnathan a tour of the area and escorts him around. he points out the sights and from a distance points Nick's tower out::

"That is my sires tower, it is ill advised to ever go there without invite"

"Would there be any particular reason I would -WANT- to go there? I mean, everything I'm doing will be isolated mostly to myself and the "unclaimed" areas of the city. I could not imagine ever wanting to go into someone else's home itself and risk their wrath therein. Even in the most dire of circumstances I would prefer meeting somewhere else. But...enough of that. Back to the tour..."

"I don't believe so....tell me though, what region might you suggest I visit next? Anything near here? And could you give me any contact information so I don't drop by completely unannounced?"

"Although in most cities ties between the Carthians and Invictus are usually wore thin I believe it is stronger in this city due to interactions between Nick and Lucrecia. I believe it would be good to introduce you to Lucretia and allow her to give you a tour of Invictus districts. Also If I may see if she will allow myself along on the tour. Let us contact Valarie to see if she will contact Lucretia for us. Lets call the haven and see if Valerie is there. Unfortunately her lack of cell phone use makes her more difficult to contact."

::Denton takes a moment to call Issac.::

"Hello Issac, It is Denton. How are you this evening, If I may make a request would you happen to know if Valerie is available there to answer a phone call? If so would you have her call us back as soon as possible."

::Denton makes a second call to a phone in the observatory used for normal contact with Valerie. If there is no answer will leave a message.:

"Hello Valerie, It is Denton. How are you this evening, If I may make a request would you be able to arrange contact with Lucretia. I as well as Johnathan are taking a tour of the city and would like to request her escort. If she is willing of course. Will you please check for us. Thanks we appreciate it."

:: Busy cataloging stars, Valerie doesn't hear the phone ring right away but as it continues ringing it catches her attention. She looks around for the source of the noise that has interrupted her work. She spies the phone across the room and moves to answer it. She doesn't quite make it before the phone stops ringing. She checks for a voice message. Upon hearing Denton's message, Valerie immediately calls him back. ::

"Hello Denton. I'm doing splendidly at the moment. The comet I've been tracking is absolutely beautiful. Sorry for missing your call. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in my own head, I don't realize the world around me. As to your request, I'd be delighted to help out you and Johnathan. I can't promise anything but I'll try my best."

::Valerie hangs up and proceeds to dial Lucretia's number from memory.::

"Hi Lucretia. Valerie here. How's the night treating you on this beautiful star-filled evening? I'm calling cause a little birdie friend of mine named Denton and his friend Johnnie need your help. They want a tour of our wonderful city and were wondering if you would guide them with your approval through your area so no harm will come to them."
