So I do not know if there was another thread covering this but I did not see it when I glanced down the page.

Here is the info I gathered so far

Scarborough Tickets are:
19.99 / person for 1 days access
15.00 / person if we order a group of tickets numbering 10 or more
picture ID required of the purchaser to pick up ticket(s)

Opening Ceremony is 9:45am and Closing Ceremony is 6:45pm
There are some attactions, rides, and games that cost 1 to 3 dollars
there is (expensive) food of course available along with all the crafted temptations typical of such events

They list 1 Hampton Inn as being 9 miles away and there is free parking

Six Flags
Online Tickets are 29.99 a person
At the Gate Tickets are 46.99 per person
Parking is either $15 regular or $20 for preferred
Some of the Hotels listed in the area provide free transportation to the Park

Accomodations
I reccomend finding something close to 6 Flags since they charge for parking and the Faire does not. This would allow effective free parking both days

Days in Arlington/Six Flags
910 North Collins
1 room 2 listed adults = 84/night (total for room w/1 double bed)
1 room 2 listed adults = 89/night (total for room w/2 double beds)

Howard Johnson Express-arlington Ballpark
2001 East Copeland Road
1 room 2 listed adults = 75/night (total for room w/1 king bed)
1 room 2 listed adults = 90/night (total for room w/2 queen beds)

These are the 2 cheapest I could find... others are 100+ and some of those do not offer rides to the park...

Sounds fun, but I am still busy playing Job: The Hunting. It's like Ass: The Raping, but with less money. Maybe my character sheet isn't good enough. I don't have enough prestige levels for some of these things. Game references doing naything for ya?

well with the governments inept attempt at dispersing information to the public I was under the impression I would get the stimulus check early this month... instead it will be middle of next month... which I guess is close enough for government work...

It's almost as if we are being penalized for being poor... nah.

As it is, I'm not even leaving the house this summer. Four bucks for gas. The hell you say.

Hey Jan, what does gas cost over in Germany?

I am inviting my cousin and her hubby along for activites since they live in the area so we may have more (for group ticket reasons) but she won't be staying at the hotel I am sure...

Should be next weekend since it's memorial weekend, and the last week of the ren fair. That is unless plans have changed.
