Character Creation Bonuses and Incentives

In order to balance out character creation total points and to incentivize players to pick certain tribes, bonuses are assigned to some Breed, Auspice, and Tribe selections. Bonus dots provided below DO allow characters to increase values beyond 3 dots.
Attribute Bonuses
After characters are completed, players may spend 12 experience points to spend on Attributes.
Hint: Take three attributes at 1 during character creation, then immediately buy them up to 2 dots. Those familiar with the system do this anyway, so this is just to help even the playing field for those less familiar with the system.
Breed Bonuses
Characters of the Homid breed are able to take an additional 4 dots in Knowledges.
Characters of the Metis breed are given 2 dots to assign to any of Rituals, Occult, or Primal-Urge or the Cosmology secondary knowledge.
Characters of the Lupus breed receive nothing (except their naturally higher Gnosis, which the above bonuses are designed to balance against).
Auspice Bonuses
Members of the Ragabash auspice are able to take 4 additional dots of backgrounds. These may be assigned to any background except Ancestors, Pure Breed, Rites, and Spirit Heritage. Only 1 dot of this bonus may be assigned to any given background.
Members of the Theurge auspice gain 3 dots of backgrounds. These may be assigned to Rites (specifically Mystical, Caern, and Seasonal rites) or to Spirit Heritage.
Members of the Philodox auspice gain 2 dots of backgrounds to be assigned among Accord, Punishment, or Renown Rites.
Members of the Galliard auspice gain 1 dot in a background. This can be assigned to either Rites (specifically Caern, Death, and Renown rites) or to Mentor.
Members of the Ahroun auspice get no additional dots of backgrounds, but start with the highest Rage (against which the above backgrounds are meant to balance).
Tribe Bonuses
In order to incentivize membership in specific tribes, characters belonging to those tribes may receive additional backgrounds at character creation.
Members of the Glass Walker and Uktena tribes receive 3 background dots.
The Glass Walkers may assign these dots to Elite Influence or to Resources.
The Uktena can assign them to any of Fetish, Kinfolk, or Mentor.
Members of the Children of Gaia, Shadow Lords, and Silver Fangs tribes receive 2 background dots.
The Children of Gaia may assign these to Allies or to Contacts.
The Shadow Lords assign them to Influence (either type) or Resources.
The Silver Fangs gain either Elite Influence or Resources.
Members of the Fianna and Wendigo tribes receive 1 additional background dot.
The Fianna can assign this dot to Contacts or to Kinfolk.
The Wendigo gain either a dot of Fetish or of Kinfolk.
Members of the other six tribes receive no incentive background dots for their tribal selection.
