I hate it that everyone seems to be able to post and I am kept busy elsewhere and then the reverse happens and no one is on the boards and I get bored and check it every 10min wanting something to do...

then post while you're on, and then when we get on we will reply, and the next time you're on, you can have something to do. it's a cycle.

yeah... not... would have to get more books, read them, and develop an idea... having to do that 3 times over already... and mine has not started as a result...

So after reading about starship creation in gurps I am convinced that rpgs are a horrible plot to keep nerds from doing something useful with our lives. I mean there are physics fomulas that are less complex than the ones given to calculate the properties of a ship....wtf?!?!?

actually, the special thing about gurps is that they actually use those physics formulas. my favorites are in the supers book; i posted some excerpts in the gurpforge general discussion.

and yes, that is why i'm happy to let other people do it, and want nothing to do with the technicalities. too much time.
