Movie Scheduling Thread: 2013 Edition

Starting off the summer movies we have Iron Man.

I intend to go see this Saturday May 4th, in the afternoon while matinee prices are still in effect. Consensus tells me that $4 tickets at Tinseltown are preferable to more expensive tickets elsewhere, especially since we'll be going to game afterwords anyway.

Time is still up in the air (we need the actual schedule posted, and I don't think it is), but I've had requests for the 3-4 pm range so that is probably what I'll shoot for (closer to 3, we need time to eat after).

Comments, dissent, contributions?

Good to know no one has any comments...

Anyway, 2:20 and 3:40 are the only viable 3d times, and the price is $6.75. There are other showtimes for non 3d at $4.25 per. It is likely a good idea to get tickets friday, but I'd rather know who is going if we do that.

3:40 is a perfect time for me. I am in for it then. Also definitely in 3d.

3d for sure. I don't really have a preference in time.

I will get tickets tomorrow when i get up, after i have heard from adam and finalized things with jason.

3:40 in 3d, $6.75.

I intend to show up AT the theater by 3:15. I am telling Haley that this is the start time, so that I actually have a chance of that happening. Act accordingly (if you want to car pool or leave your stuff inside, you'll want to be at my place by 3... if not, just meet at the theater around 3:15 so I can hand out tickets).

Tickets purchased.

Also of note, they wanted to charge an extra $1/ticket just to get them online, so I ended up having to drive out to T.Town to save cash. Just round up to $7 when you hand me money, it pays for my gas and still leaves you with a $.75 savings (and has the added benefit of not requiring me to make change).

Looks like there is a 3:25 and a 5:05 showing of Star Trek. Any votes? Several people mentioned wanting a later showtime, but I'm not sure how late "late" is.

I plan on sitting this one out as I don't expect to be able to be in okc by 5. I will catch the movie at another time.

I want the earlier one. I may go myself if others want to go late.

I'm fine with the earlier showing too.

Haley prefers the earlier, and I believe I do as well.

So... 2ish at t. town unless people want to meet up prior at around 1:15 at my place.
