Divine Characteristics Revised
Hit Points: Gain maximum hit points per hit die.
Speed: Movement increases as noted on the chart in the Deities Handbook.
Armor Class: Gain a Divine bonus equal to Divine Rank to AC.
Attack: Gain a Divine bonus equal to Divine Rank on all attack rolls. For deities with a divine rank of 1 or more, a roll of 1 on an attack roll is not an automatic failure.
Maximized Rolls: Greater Deities retain this trait as written.
Saving Throws: Gain a Divine bonus equal to Divine Rank to Saving Throws. For deities with a divine rank of 1 or higher, a roll of 1 on a saving throw doesn’t automatically count as a failure.
Checks: This trait works as written.
Immunities: Deities of Divine Rank of 1 or higher are immune to non-magical Diseases, and Poisons. Otherwise a deity of Divine Rank 1-5 has no special immunities granted by his Divine Rank.
Damage Reduction: A deity gains Damage Reduction 10 plus his Divine Rank/ Epic, otherwise this ability acts as listed.
Resistance: A deity gains Resistance 5 plus his Divine Rank to all energy types (fire, cold, electricity, acid, sonic).
Spell Resistance: A deity gains a Spell Resistance of 30 plus his Divine Rank.

Spell-Like Abilities: This trait works as written.
Immortality: This trait works as written.
Senses: A deities senses remain the same as those of a normal creature of their type. For deities of Divine Rank 1 or greater the Remote Sensing, and Block Sensing traits both work as written.

Automatic Actions: This trait works as written.
Create Magic Items: This trait works as written.
Divine Aura: This trait works as written.
Grant Spells: As written except the deity must be Divine Rank 1 or higher.
Spontaneous Casting: Deities no longer gain this trait.
Communication: A deity can speak, read, and write any language. A deity may only speak to creatures within normal speaking distance. The Remote Communication trait works as written.
Godly Realm: This trait works as written.
Travel: This trait works as written.
Familiar: This trait works as written.
Salient Divine Abilities Revised
Most of these revisions will affect only the prerequisites for the listed abilities. We are doing this because looking at the prerequisites they seem both arbitrary, and limited in inappropriate ways.
Some SDA’s now list ‘Domain’ as a prerequisite. This means a character must have at least one domain or sub domain with a theme appropriate to the listed Salient Divine Ability. See the ‘Suggested Portfolio Elements’ under all the SDA’s in the book for ideas on what is appropriate. With that said the listed portfolio elements are not necessarily the only Domains that might be applied. Work with the DM to determine if a particular domain is appropriate or not. A few SDA’s list a specific domain prerequisite, which must be possessed by a deity seeking access to the ability in question.
