I also had a doggles link (dog goggles used by war and rescue dogs) but I felt it was a bit banal for it's own link, so i'm mentioning it in passing only.

Interesting, and cool way to avoid money. This should be standard practice, we shouldn't have had to wait for an economic recession to figure it out.

I feel a 'OMFGROFL' is in order. It seems most appropriate. Nuke the oil spill. I want to turn that into a button that can be worn on clothing, or pinned to a purse.

I have told several of you that I greatly enjoyed the independent film "Ink," and that should you get the opportunity to see it, it would be worth your time, at least as a discussion topic. I have learned more about the film and it's release, and have a few neat factoids about it that I'd like to share.

The developers deliberately allowed piracy of the film, which was downloaded via bittorrent 400,000 times over the course of a single week and was used as a form of advertising for the film, which paid off and the amount of exposure the film got as a result of the "free piracy" increased dvd and bluray sales tremendously.

As of christmas, it is available, sponsored by the developers, to view for free on hulu. Obviously, if you like it enough you'll buy a copy, or you can go to www.doubleedgefilms.com to show your "less than cost of the dvd" support for the film and it's liberal access.

Here is the link for the film on hulu. This costs you nothing and I"d love to discuss the film with you: http://www.hulu.com/watch/116313/ink

What part is stupid, just to clarify. The whole ordeal seems like a BIG waste of time, and money to me. Like the prison system has nothing better to do than lock up an old man for skipping his parol? I isn't even about the murder anymore, he did time for that if I am reading the article correctly. Wow, just wow.
