I almost posted that fat article the other day Jason, it's actually pretty interesting. We're addicted to our shitty foods. Who knew?

The earthship site is interesting, I'll have to look at it in more depth as I begin considering houses later on down the road. I would very much like to live in a more communal setting though, preferably one where the community was largely self sufficient.

An earthship commune would rock. Though we would need more women, and internets.

actually from what I read on the page, they have high speed internet and plasma screen tvs. we can solve the women problem with russian mail order brides, or periodic trips back into the consumernasium to do....whatever it is that people do to meet women.

a U.S. appeals court has ruled against net neutrality. Basically saying that ISPs can regulate what people are able to use bandwidth for or to view.

Oh, I heard about that. They want to limit porn to like an hour a day, and some other stupid crap. Imminent Domain bitches. Big Brother wants your souls.

cool. and it's microsoft, which makes me happy. If i have to choose an evil megacorp, make mine the one that doesn't cost me as much.

The apple version of this software, the iScrewed, costs triple the microsoft version, is non-compatible with any software without purchasing other software to convert your regular software library, and is really just a large version of the iTouch. But it can make lightsaber noises, and has a following of loyal fans that will tell you how awesome you are for purchasing it, which makes up for the cost and shitty processor.

I wish that I could have gone to that training camp...I think that my first couple of years of driving would have been very different. Now I would love to go to one just to rock it...it would be so easy now!
