1- i hate microsoft, and such tactics are the reason that capitalism is flawed. reduce rather than encourage development just to make an extra buck.

2- that graffiti was neat. long, but impressive. weird feel to go with though.

I am in awe of that animation... that is some really imaginative artwork on a creative medium that took weeks to complete I am sure... a really massive undertaking... not to mention I have always enjoyed such free form mutating artwork like that, it shows that the right perspective can turn anything into anything else...

Is it just me or is the FCC desperate for attention and power. I understand some dinosaurs still feel they should not have to pay for broadcast tv... fine let them... they can get the new converters to allow them to watch tv because their tv is so fucking OLD it does not have a cable jack... but if I am buying a tv now, in this day and age, when it is public knowledge that broadcast is going digital only next year, then I should not be expecting free broadcast tv because I will likely not want tv (like me) and only use it with games/dvds or plan on getting cable (like 99% of other people)... if they are that remaining 1% of dicks that refuse to give up anything free and are the reason the government is subsidizing converters, and you are buying a tv, then you had better damn well know what you are buying because you cant blame the retailer for selling you a tv that is not digi-broadcast capable... the small number of remaining tvs that lack this ability only suffer a drawback if they are expected to receive free broadcasts without some sort of cable service (cable/satellite)... but now the FCC thinks this small segment of tvs and the purchasers that might be part of this 1% of "victims" are important enough to extend their reach to suing retailers for non-compliance with a non-law reccomendation... ASSHOLES!!

I had an "enlightening" conversation today that allowed me to reasonably ask the question " so does that make you a sexual vampire??"

some of the others were discussing that show about people having to answer questions on a polygraph and then again on live tv and have the results of the polygraph presented if different... the question on that show that was being discussed was presented to an EMT, it was "have you ever touched a patient in a way that was not medically necessary?"... well one of the people in the room was in the past a phlebotomist and his answer was "always"... and as you can guess my reply was "does that make you a sexual vampire?" and after a laugh he agreed that it did...
