Uhm... doctors have this cool medicine called a tranquilizer. It knocks you out, so they can do what they want. They should be using this in abundance, both on the kid and his family.

Yes, apparently logic, deduction and wit are not enough for audiences. Camp, violence and supernatural are required...though I think this makes Watson his bond babe, which I find more disgusting then intriguing for once.

I don't like it. Sherlock holmes is nothing if not fastidious. A scuzzy unbathed man is not at all what he is or was.
That said, the film looks....ok. Again, like so many other remakes, nothing like the original, but if that can be dismissed it will probably be enjoyable. I'll try to forget loving every word of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's masterpiece and its tremendous effect on my childhood, just long enough to enjoy the film, and then vomit blood.

Eh, Holmes has many standards. While personally clean, his place is depicted as being a pig sty most of the time.
Anyway, I just linked the video for the hell of it, I'm glad that it riled people up.

Untidy, and cluttered is not a pigsty. I agree with gideon here. I am getting tired of hollywood revamping old stories, and characters for modern audiences. I don't care how much money they spend, or who they get in the cast. Im sure this movie will be a blockbuster, and please audiences nation wide. I for one will vomit blood and be content with the statement that makes.
Oh yes, I should mention i've been drinking so everything I say here is true, and unfiltered. Just my feelings on a page.
