After hearing of the visitors from Rachnar, Imoak made his way to the cemetery so he might join his companions in confronting these strange beings. Finding himself more, and more off put by the city Imoak hoped these strangers might at the very least provide some amusement. He had pretty much decided to leave this place behind, but he could do this one thing first.
As he entered the grounds he saw Dala tending to her many tasks. He made his way through the graves, until he finally saw the rest of his companions. The pale mage girl Aine, and the ever strange shapechanger Saubwa. Rachnar had promised to return shortly after getting their other companion Yavell. Something about the shifter seemed different, but Imoak couldn't pinpoint exactly what it was. His attention wasn't focused in that direction anyway. As he his vision swept over the visitors he unconsciously found himself growing guarded.
The figures, standing with an alien intensity, resonated with something Imoak found uncomfortable. Maybe it was the similarity to his own divine spark, or maybe they simply reeked of the gods he had sworn to bring down. Whatever the case, his instincts told him to be cautious.
He approached the two groups finding his way to his companions, he took up a position which would allow him to quickly shield the mage girl with his own body, should the need arise. He couldn't help but notice the way the dwarf kept eyeing Saubwa. It didn't matter that he and his companions had differences of opinion now and again. They were his group, and these strangers weren't. If push came to shove he knew where he stood.
All this intensity, and anxiety filling the air was exciting, he thought. He hadn't even heard words spoken yet, and he could feel a battle of wills growing. Imoak found himself smiling, his big dangerous grin. He hoped these strangers were as tough as they looked. He couldn't help but begin to size them up as opponents.
"So," he stated bluntly, and to no one in particular, "what's going on?"
