Sounds like pretty standard hong kong action comedy to me...probably worth seeing once, or twice, and quoting for the rest of my life.

On Becoming a Jedi
This one's for all you Star Wars nerds. USA Today reported on an upcoming toy that "will let you test and hone your Jedi-like abilities." What in the name of Jabba the Hutt does that mean? Well, according to the article, the Force Trainer "comes with a headset that uses brain waves to allow players to manipulate a sphere within a clear 10-inch-tall training tower." The wireless headset will read the person's brain activity "and the circuitry translates it to physical action." It sounds like something from "The Onion," but we assure it's the real deal. This fall, you can pretend to be Yoda for about $100.

I am yoda. Also, the average star wars fanatic already has jedi-like abilities, except that its a combo of fast food and mountain dew that flows through him, rather than metachlorines.

I really don't eat all that much fast food, and I hate soda, yet I still have force powers...being part elf has its perks you know.

It never surprises me how gullible people really are. Has she never taken an art class? She's using optical illusions to justify 'spiritual auras', are you kidding? WTF is wrong with people.

wow. that's pretty cool...

i do wonder though, why people seem so insistent on augmenting with petroleum products for long range stuff. seems like we should try to get away from non-renewable fuel whenever possible.

Acceptable efficiency, probably. Most of the alternative fuel options I've seen work fine for city-driving stuff (relatively low speeds and whatnot) but gasoline gains a ton of efficiency when used to sustain high-speed motion (which is about the only reason that air travel is practical at all).
