We did not have time today to stop by and check for season tickets we'll do it tomorrow. We need to carpool with someone as i refuse to buy a new car yet. I'll be more then happy to pay our share of the gas and parking.

We will however need a seperate hotel room, so we can play tick tac toe together in private.

works for me. i think we will end up taking 2 cars if numbers stay stable.

i should know by tonight about hotels. i just got up after a glorious 15 hour sleep, so i didn't get much done last night. the goal is to get something close to six flags that has the cheapest 1 beds available.

as far as seasons tickets... i'll look at them too, but you should probably look online at some of the discount sites as well (google six flags coupons).

also, are we going to six flags, or six flags hurricane harbor? they are both in arlington... i'm confused.

the hurricane harbor is the water park... and I am not interested in that..

ah. might be fun, i've never been to a water park before. not sure anyone else is interested though.

try the one here... it is tied to frontier city and they have the combo season pass I do believe... too bad the tickets here are no longer tied to the 6 flags there...

Knights Inn Arlington - 53.99/59.99
Howard Johnson Express-arlington Ballpark - 69.98
Motel 6 dallas - arlington #122 - 59.99

these are the cheapies.

there are other places that cost from >100, but i'm not sure people want that.

please start posting if you have an opinion. i'm thinking i like the knights in or the motel six if its just me making the decision. or for a little touch of elegance we can go with the hojo... or we can spend 150 a night at the marriot.

location would likely be the decider for myself... their prices are close enough to not make much difference and since it is only a place to sleep I am uncaring about majority of accomodation perks...

and location means not only the place but its proximity to the park (in case we forgo the parking thing) and ease of access (could be a major problem for areas near the park due to traffic)

Steven made a comment that reminded me I wanted to make an offer to everyone... I have excess luggage since I have what I used to move here and what my brother used as well... anyone needing/wanting suitcase space is more than welcome to make use of it... I have 1 rather large one (measured in feet per sides) and a couple smaller... just let me know... I am taking the suitcase so I can accomodate my costume so it wont be any extra trouble (except maybe finding a place to put it in a car) my clothes are going in a bkpk for ease of retreival...

Room

A cheap hotel is fine with us. The way I see it, if we're in the hotel room and not sleeping we're doing something wrong. A bed without too many bloodstains is all i need.

I agree with paul... but knowing some of the people in this group the bloodstain requirement may be hard to meet... unless you are not worried about fresh blood stains... or blood puddles, or blood graffiti, etc...

as an aside... do we have an itenerary(sp) yet?? I want to know if I am working on friday or not (as based on needs of trip prep) since I have it reserved but if I can save the vacation time I will... unless I find another use for a day off

I cannot get Friday off at this point, too many others have already taken off. I have gotten Thursday off though, I just need some of that time to do some other shopping. I need to buy a big hat.
