Am I the only one that feels our selection of emoticons is a bit subpar. I mean really can you honestly tell me that the meer twenty small yellow faces in the left hand tab, can fully handle my needs as a forum typist?
Sure maybe if I had bug feelings, or a robot heart, but I have neither. What I do have is the inescapable need to unleash my deepest feelings upon this digital world via tiny yellow faces. Only in that way can my readers understand the turbulent pool of emotions which seek validation sans smiley.
So I implore you...please, for the love of all that is right, and smiley, and good, WE NEED MORE EMOTICONS!

I use this to help supplement the sparse emoticons here.
http://sa.tweek.us/emots/
so what you do is right click (or whatever mac has) on the emoticon you want and pick 'view image', then copy the address of the image, and use img tags with that, and presto! you have an emoticon!

when you want to use the emoticon, press the 'img' button, paste in the address, and then press the 'img' button again. then it'll work.

No, no, I give up. I'm not sure if my computer can do it. The drop down box doesn't give me the options you discribe, and i've tried all the ones it does. Alas, it is not to be. I am doomed to post my voice without the range of emotimotions open to other more industrious posters.
(alas this emoticon should be shedding at least a single tear, but such things are not to be)
