What is SRD, and what kind of 'problems' have people have people decided they need to fix?
I actually like the feel of 3.5 with its loop holes, and stuff. I always found the 'cheese' as they say to be part of that sort of system. It really just looks like a ploy for someone else to get my money. I'm not sure I would want to buy a whole new book for $50 dollars. If someone gets it as a PDF and wants to send it my way, I'll take a look.

4th Ed is not as bad as you make it out to be.
Power gaming has been capped, there is no breaking the system anymore. Everything is more cohesive, all classes have value and a role to play. Everyone has a defined role that is utilized to the fullest in each combat ( no just sitting some combats out like in 3.5). Monsters are in line with difficulty ratings finally allowing the GM to spend less time on creating a challenge for the party and more time on story and character development. Yes the system has been simplified but I agree with the trend a simplified system is the best kind of system. One that does not contradict itself and provides flavor without getting carried away ( any expansion in the 'east' for any system lol)
The only problem I have with 4.0 at the moment is a lack of flavor text in the books. I do see this coming back more and more and the campaign books are filling that gap now instead of every book having a little of both.

Many of those problems were actually taken care of in 3.5 as the system went on. Bo9S and many of the completes helped a lot.
People can feel free to play 4th if they like, but I'd rather just play the edition that I prefer, with a few slight fixes instead of switching to a whole new edition.

This almost makes me want to change the setting for my Star Wars game. This breaks my head apart. I really want to play it, however its going to be an mmo. I would have to buy a new computer just to run it.
Anyway, hope you all like enjoy this cinematic as much as me. It nice to see Jedi wearing freakin armor btw.
