Distinct people visiting site? Yes. Can I distinguish them from registered members? No. The tracking that is performed by the tools that came with the site - 'Webalyzer' for anyone that cares - tracks IP addresses and keeps track of things on the http level rather than on the php/SQL level. This mea...

As a temp fix, I know with a lot of browsers (especially Firefox and IE7) you can hold either alt o r control and scroll the mouse wheel to make text larger or smaller. I'll see what I can find about adjusting font sizes. I know you can alter them in the text of a post you're making, but I'm less s...

Site Stat Reporting
Bandwidth Just for those who are wondering. Last month we used 279.2 MB of bandwidth out of an available 15360000. For those who are less fluent in the language of math than I am, this is 0.00181770833333(repeating)% of our allotment. In other words, we're using less than 1% of 1% of our available ...

Out of curiosity I've turned on stat collection for web access to the site. I'm curious to see how often it is getting hit and to see roughly how much people are accessing it. Judging from the bandwidth usage, which is already being collected, we're using only a tiny fraction of what is available, s...

I'm voting for a hiatus. For one, we've got a lot of other games on the table that, even if we don't play them on Saturdays, we can talk and plan for them. I've always been 50/50 on Dungeon crawls as it is. I'm surprised I lasted this long. I'd be a blast to go back to after a while and be like 'Oh ...

So, as far as character goes, I'm sort of looking at the up-and-comming first mate who's cocky about his abilities and actually has the skill to back most of that up. He'll be brash, but not hot-headed and deeply enjoy his job. He'd probably be a bit on the young side for his rank, which would contr...

Here's a thought, though it would probably take some time for me to impliment completely: What about a wiki or something for keeping documentation, character sheets, locational descriptions, house rules, and other miscellenia? The MediaWiki software is publicly available, so I should be able to get ...
