http://www.nytimes.com/2010/07/26/world/asia/26warlogs.html?no_interstitial I found this interesting. Its a bunch of documents that were released into public about the war in Iraq over the last six years. It paints the war in a different light than what the public has been told. Although to be hones...

Finally, after 5 drafts, and several weeks of work... it is finished. Here it is without any fanfare, Imoak's 100 Years. I hope you enjoy reading it, as much as I enjoyed writing it: In the space of a hundred years imagine how a soul can change. In that time a lost mind can find itself, and a thous...

Like most things I think happy medium probably exists, and the best games happen when a general consensus is met. That said, it is really hard to do this. The bulk of the responsibility falls on the GM, to keep everything running smoothly. Its easy as a player to bitch about the stuff you don't like...

I'm going to make a short post here, for now, and will make a more detailed one later. I am really busy. The first thing that sprang to mind with this thread was the issue of trusting the GM. Roleplaying requires that the PC's place a degree of trust in the storyteller and that persons ability to ar...

"As I said, she told me that the casters would be able to find her. I just figured you had ways of sending her a message or something to let her know when, and where to meet. Magic isn't my area of expertise however, so I don't really know how you would do that."

“I do not object, you should teach him as you see fit. I would warn you against teaching him reverence for beings such as Xeromonius. While, I understand you have devotion to that creature, he is now gone, and you are free to be what you will, and live as you want. I also cannot impress upon you the...

I might play, but only if I can be a martial artist. I already did the gunfighter thing in this setting, and it was meh. I want to play a 'good guy', wandering monk, who helps people in trouble, and beats zombies to death with his hands, and feet.
